Musical background:
Enlisted in the local music school in my home town of Salo in 1985 with percussion as my primary instrument. Later studies in a musical upper secondary school and the Sibelius Academy. Bought my first turntable in 1998, and became a self-educated turntable/scratch artist.

First album you bought:
An album by a heavy metal band called Krokus that I bought from a local supermarket in Salo. Around the same time I also beat my friend in table tennis and won a single by the band Stryper. That too was a true masterpiece of spiritual heavy metal.
Albums you grew up with:
Stray Cats, Duran Duran and Iron Maiden were favourites by choice, but at home I also heard a lot of rock music of all sorts.
