Oomph! left without a vocalist

The legendary German industrial metal band Oomph! is without their beloved vocalist Dero Goi.

The band announced the other day that the musician is leaving the band, with a new vocalist yet to be named:

“After / as of September 30, 2021, Dero is no longer a part of the band Oomph!

All three of us regret that no effort of ours has been able to keep the team in our constellation.

We have agreed together that Flux and Crape will continue the Oomph! band and wish each other all the best for the future!”

Dero is known to have been with the band for more than 30 years. An official reason for the departure has not yet been given, but fans unanimously say that they have long noticed a change in the beloved artist’s behavior and worldview: Goi in the last few months posted videos, where he fought against opponents of Christianity and defended the rights of Jesus.

The musician had two other projects, Die Kreatur and What About Bill? What will happen with these bands is still unclear.

As for Oomph! themselves, they always had a place of honor on the music scene. Even the great and terrible Rammstein repeatedly admitted to taking inspiration from their talented and flamboyant countrymen.
