Fuji Rock Festival

The upcoming music festival in Japan will feature two main topics, Music and Nature and Living with Corona. The event will last for three days and among other stars will show such brilliants of music like Bonobo, Jack White, Halsey, English DJ Jonas Blue, American folk-rock band Dawes, Australian jazz band Hiatus Kaiyote, British rock band Foals, and more.

There are three unique stages for the festival: the Gypsy Avalon, Pyramid Garden, and Day Dreaming stage. All of them create a unique atmosphere for guests. 

The Gypsy Avalon, located in the New Power Gear Field, emphasizes the importance of using reusable energy sources. Thus it uses bio-diesel, solar, and other reusable energy sources. The Pyramid Garden is a meditative space where every day starts with yoga on a grassy area and finishes in a calming candle art setting. Doragondola, which is the longest gondola in Japan, is a place to relax and breathe surrounded by the forest, and plunged into festival music.

Summer Sonic 2022

Place: Osaka and Tokyo, Japan

Date: 20-21 August 2022

Summer Sonic, one more Japanese festival, will be held at the Zozo Marine Stadium and Makuhari Messe in Tokyo and Maishima Sonic Park in Osaka. The festival will be located in a picturesque place near the Tokyo Bay and will welcome lovers of all music genres. 

Among the guests of the festival, there are such famous names as The 1975, Post Malone, Megan Thee Stallion, Maneskin, ONE OK ROCK, Carly Rae Jepsen, JOJI, and The Offspring.

JogjaROCKarta Festival

Place: Jakarta, Indonesia

Date: 24-25 September 2022

This metal rock festival will be a lucky find for all fans of heavy Asian music. The list of artists is quite amazing, including Burgerkill, Dead Squad, Death Vomit, Edane, Jamrud, Serigala Malam, Seringai and Superman Is Dead.

Rock in Japan Festival

Place: Soga Sports Park, Japan

Date: 6-13 August 2022

One of the biggest music events is back to Japan after the Covid pandemic. This year the Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki Prefecture and Soga Sports Park in Chiba Prefecture will host the festival and welcome all the famous Asian artists and bands, as well as guests. 

The festival will happen at four stages: Lotus stage, Grass stage, Hillside stage, and Park stage. The transfer among them is quite easy. The festival keeper also announced that admission to the area right close to the stage will be granted according to a lottery held in advance. And hence these places are available only to those who purchase tickets early on. 

Among the artists on the lineup, you can find YOASOBI, King Gnu, HY, Awesome City Club, THE KEBABS, BLUE ENCOUNT, MY FIRST STORY, and many others.

Rising Sun Rock Festival

Place: Hokkaido, Japan

Date: 12-13 August 2022

This outdoor rock festival usually takes place every year in Hokkaido. This year rock and indie artists from around Japan gather again after the Covid pandemic. 

Music lovers can also enjoy beautiful nature, tasty food in restaurants, and environmental events. What differentiates RSR from other festivals is its unique atmosphere. Guests are encouraged to set up tents and spend a night under the sky. However, be careful as the temperature at night can be quite cold in Hokkaido, so take your warm clothes with you. There are no reserved seats. Everything is spontaneous and living.
